Services

Gulfstream MediGroup provides Clients two distinct options to maximize their outdated automobile accident related receivables:

Purchase Option – Gulfstream MediGroup can underwrite your portfolio of uncollected automobile accident related receivables and will purchase those uncollectible medical receivables for a guaranteed cash payment.

Collection Services – Gulfstream MediGroup can act as your Collection Agency exclusively tracking down all unpaid automobile accident related claims.  Although there is no guaranteed payment to the Client and there is a longer time to collect on the outstanding funds, our collection service often rewards the Clients with a higher return on their receivables.

Purchase Option Procedure:

  • Gulfstream MediGroup in coordination with Client’s billing department determines which claims are necessary for review.

  • Gulfstream MediGroup underwriters review and evaluate the viability of past accident claims to determine their potential value.

  • Gulfstream MediGroup Acquisitions Coordinator makes recommendations to Client’s contact representative regarding the value of the entire portfolio.

  • Gulfstream MediGroup presents Client with a Proposal for Purchase (PFP).  The PFP will provide Client an explanation of the number of claims, the value of the claims, the average underwriting risk factor for the portfolio and the total purchase price.

  • Client is paid a good faith deposit on the total portfolio and full payment is usually tendered within 90 days of the initial deposit.

Collection Services:

  • Gulfstream MediGroup in coordination with Client’s billing department determines which claims are necessary for review.

  • Gulfstream MediGroup underwriters review and evaluate the viability of past accident claims to determine their potential value.

  • Gulfstream MediGroup Collections Coordinator makes recommendations to Client’s Contact Representative regarding the value of the entire portfolio.

  • Gulfstream MediGroup Contact Representative reviews portfolio value with Client and executes the documents necessary to effectuate collection.

  • Client is paid their share of the proceeds after Gulfstream MediGroup receives funds from collection efforts on outstanding receivables.  Gulfstream MediGroup is historically able to effectuate a revenue stream from a new Client’s outdated receivables within 180 days.
